Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding in non-Boosh stuff:

AD/BC

The Christmas musical extravaganza which Matt Berry and Richard Ayoade put together for BBC3. They starred themselves as The Innkeeper and Joseph respectively and Matt Berry also played the composer Tim Wynde. It's a bit daft but with all that comedy talent including Julia Davis, Matt Lucas and Rich Fulcher it's hard not to love.

The caps are a little dark because they're straight from the programme as it aired on BBC3 but that's easily fixable. I posted some AD/BC icons here.

AD/BC Part 1 (576x320px, 303 caps, 27.4MB)
AD/BC Part 2 (576x320px, 302 caps, 26.2MB)

Sweet

Short film starring Noel and Julian which is one of The Mighty Boosh series 2 extras. It's a bit risque but nothing all that bad really and seeing early Julian and Noel is well worth it.

Sweet Part 1 (280 caps, 720x405px, 47.2 MB)
Sweet Part 2 (278 caps, 720x405px, 47.0 MB)

Conceived by the French director Adrian Maben as "an anti-Woodstock film," Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii was shot in October 1971 in the ancient city's vacant, 2,000-year-old amphitheatre--a venue chosen to accentuate the grandeur and spaciousness of the band's Meddle-era music. This disc contains a new, 90-minute director's cut as well as the original 60-minute concert film, whose production and effects feel inescapably dated. Maben's cut goes to great lengths to lend the film a more contemporary feel, but it's the earlier version that makes this disc such a gem, being more focused on the music and more holistic in vision.

Caps from the Martin Scorsese documentary on Bob Dylan, which was on BBC2 last year:

Spawning both politically charged folk ballads that came to embody the very spirit of the turbulent 1960s ('The Times They are a-Changin') and sprawling, stream-of-consciousness litanies that irrevocably changed the face of rock music ('Like a Rolling Stone'), the years between 1961-1966 were inarguably the most artistically fertile for legendary singer/songwriter Bob Dylan.

These are from the first four episodes from The Goodies... At Last which are Tower Of London, Gender Education, Kitten Kong and The Goodies and the Beanstalk. Also, there's caps from Broaden Your Mind with Tim and Graeme. I ended up doing rather a lot of caps so they're in zip files.

To quote Rutlemania:

Eric Idle, one of the members of Monty Python's Flying Circus, in 1975 created a programme for BBC2 in the United Kingdom, a show that ostensibly was a product of tiny regional Rutland Weekend Television. The inspiration for RWTV is described by Eric Idle (in the person of Ray Jenkinson, Managing Director of RWTV):
For many years Rutland was the smallest county in England, being only 152 square miles. In April 1974, owing to an appalling planning blunder on the part of the British government, it literally ceased to exist. shortly afterwards Sir Nat Kosher realized the enormous tax benefits of broadcasting from somewhere which didn't legally exist and formed Rutland Weekend Television, Britain's smallest TV station. From its very first broadcast RWTV was greeted with praise from Accountants and Taxation Experts in every walk of life.

A lot has been said about politicians; some of it complimentary, but most of it accurate )
